Requirements and skills
Business Development's Qualifications & Skills:
Should be Graduate/ Post Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University in their area of expertise; preferably from sales and marketing, business administration or similar.
Should have minimum of 2 - 5 years or more of relevant business development experience
Should be able to communicate both in English and Hindi or other Local Languages with schools, colleges and institutions
Should have excellent written and verbal communication & effective interpersonal and negotiation skills
Possess strong creative and strategic thinking skills to develop effective sales strategies through delegation, prioritisation and execution for business growth
Ability to adapt to the company's culture effectively and lead other teams
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and initiate partnerships with colleges and institutions for student referrals, events, and collaborations.
Conduct regular visits to colleges for seminars, presentations, workshops, and tie-up opportunities.
Promote the institute's courses and programs to students, faculty, and decision-makers in colleges.
Generate leads through fieldwork, campus outreach, and educational events.
Coordinate and execute MoUs or partnership agreements with institutions.
Collaborate with the marketing and admissions teams for campaign support and conversions.
Maintain a database of all outreach activities, contacts, and leads..
Attend educational fairs, exhibitions, and networking events as a representative of the institute.
Provide regular reports and insights on market trends, competitor activities, and outreach feedback.
