The role requires a blend of sales awareness, marketing creativity, & technical understanding to generate leads, close deals, and maintain long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted industry segments.
Research and analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential leads.
Utilize CRM tools to manage & track customer interactions.
2. Sales Execution:
Conduct product presentations & software demonstrations tailored to client needs.
Prepare proposals, quotations, & negotiate terms to close deals.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
3. Marketing & Outreach:
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, webinars, and digital outreach.
Support content creation (case studies, brochures, presentations).
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
4. Client Relationship Management:
Develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Act as the point of contact for client support during the pre-sales and post-sales phases.
5. Market Feedback & Reporting:
Report on customer needs, problems, interests, and competitive activities.
Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, forecasts, and achievements to management.
Minimum Targets (KPIs):
Monthly revenue target: INR 5 lakhs
Minimum 15 qualified leads per month
At least 5 client meetings/presentations per week
Minimum 2 new accounts closed per month
Required Skills:
Proven sales experience, ideally in software or IT services
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of SaaS, enterprise applications, and cloud-based technologies
Proficiency in CRM Tool
Ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
1-3 years of B2B sales experience in technology/software domain
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies
Experience selling to the retail sector, especially four-wheeler personal & commercial vehicle showrooms and service centers.
