Job Description

Role Objective:



The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and promoting PhillipCapital's products and services across retail, HNI, and institutional segments.

Key Responsibilities:



Acquire new clients through direct sales efforts, networking, and referrals. Develop and execute strategies to increase client base and revenues across financial products. Promote and cross-sell investment products such as equity broking, mutual funds, insurance, PMS, and fixed-income products. Manage and grow relationships with retail/HNI clients by understanding their financial needs and offering suitable solutions. Meet assigned sales targets for revenue and client acquisition. Coordinate with internal departments for seamless client onboarding, KYC, and service support. Stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings. Organize investor awareness programs, seminars, and marketing activities to increase brand visibility. Prepare MIS reports and track performance metrics regularly.

Key Skills & Competencies:



Proven sales track record in financial services, broking, or wealth management. Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of financial markets and investment products. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Result-oriented approach with a strong drive to meet targets.

Qualifications & Experience:



Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial product sales, preferably in broking or wealth management. NISM certifications (Equity Derivatives, Mutual Funds) - Mandatory or must be acquired within 3 months of joining.
