Kgees Fine Foods Pvt Ltd specializes in manufacturing a variety of high-quality food products, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian pickles, ground spices, and rice powders like Appam Podi and Steamed Puttu Podi. Established in 2018, our business has grown through innovative sales strategies and rural van operations across all districts of Kerala, providing authentic flavors directly to our customers.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager will oversee and drive the sales and market development for Kgees Fine Foods' product range. This includes managing rural van sales across Kerala, developing strategies to enhance sales, training and managing a dynamic sales team, and implementing effective reporting systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in FMCG sales and be adept at handling operations in a rural market setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Development



- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and reach revenue goals.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities.

- Expand distribution channels and devise strategies for maximum product exposure, particularly focusing on rural markets.

2. Team Management & Development



- Recruit, train, and mentor sales executives for the rural van sales operations across Kerala.

- Set sales targets and performance benchmarks for the team, and motivate team members to achieve and exceed goals.

- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members.

3. Sales Operations & Channel Management



- Oversee and coordinate rural van operations to ensure smooth product delivery, adequate stock levels, and proper customer engagement.

- Coordinate with the supply chain and production teams to ensure product availability.

- Ensure proper merchandising, promotional activities, and brand visibility at the retail level.

4.Customer Relationship Management



- Build strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and distributors to secure customer loyalty and consistent business.

- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, providing solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

5. Reporting & Analytics



- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track performance, highlight trends, and make data-driven decisions.

- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and new market opportunities.

- Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, market feedback, and strategic recommendations.

Key Requirements

Experience:

5+ years in FMCG sales, with a preference for experience in food products or rural market operations.

Education

: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

Skills

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

- Analytical mind set with proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting.

- Knowledge of rural sales dynamics and the Kerala market is a plus.

Other Requirements

- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala.

- Proficient in Malayalam and English.
