Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in the FMCG sector (or similar industries), with strong exposure to field sales, store visits, and market development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute sales and marketing strategies to drive product visibility and market penetration. Conduct regular field visits to retail stores, distributors, and key accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, buyers, and distributors. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and provide actionable insights. Drive in-store promotions, merchandising activities, and ensure product availability. Achieve sales targets, generate leads, and close deals through field activities. Report daily/weekly fieldwork, store visit findings, and sales performance. Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional material and campaign execution. Train and support in-store staff on product knowledge and brand guidelines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 2-4 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales, marketing, or similar industries. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Willingness to travel extensively for store visits and fieldwork. Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven. Knowledge of the Chennai market and local languages is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and analysis.
