Experience: 10 to 15 years in B2B Sales/Key Account Management in that (5 to 7 years mandatory experience in Corporate Furniture, Modular Interiors, or Allied Building/Fit-out Products)



Location:

Surat/Ahmedabad (Base location, with significant travel required for market development)

We seek a seasoned Sales Manager to drive strategic growth and lead our sales team into new markets.




Position Overview


The Sales Manager will be responsible for defining, executing, and managing the overall corporate sales strategy. This leadership role involves direct management of the Business Development Executive (BDE) team, driving key strategic accounts, and securing major bulk contracts. The manager is the ultimate owner of the sales P&L, responsible for market share growth, revenue generation, and maintaining premium brand positioning in the B2B sector.



Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



Sales Strategy and Revenue Management o

Target Setting & Forecasting: Develop annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for the organization/region. Conduct accurate sales forecasting and variance analysis to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and profitability goals.


GTM (Go-to-Market) Strategy: Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to target and penetrate new high-potential geographic markets and corporate segments.

Negotiation & Closure: Lead high-stakes negotiations and close strategic, large-volume corporate contracts (e.g., tenders, pan-India RFPs), ensuring favourable commercial terms and timely execution.



Team Leadership and Performance


Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the BDE team (including the Gujarat and Maharashtra BDEs). Set clear individual KPIs and provide regular coaching to enhance selling skills, negotiation tactics, and product knowledge.


Performance Review: Conduct regular performance reviews, pipeline meetings, and field visits with team members to ensure process adherence and drive high performance.

Culture: Foster a high-performance, results-oriented, and collaborative sales culture focused on consultative selling and customer success.



Key Influencer Relationship & Market Development


A&D Engagement: Systematically cultivate and maintain C-level relationships with major Architectural (A&D) firms, Interior Designers, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), and Developers across India.

Specification Management: Work directly with the design community to ensure Evian's ergonomic and modular solutions are consistently specified in their design and project Bill of Quantities (BOQs).

Market Analysis: Serve as the primary expert on market dynamics, competitor strategies, and customer needs, using this data to inform product development and pricing strategies.



Required Qualifications and Experience


Education:


Bachelor's Degree required. Master of Business Administration

(MBA) or Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is strongly preferred.


Experience:


Minimum 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in B2B/Corporate Sales.


5 to 7 years of demonstrated leadership experience managing a sales team within the Corporate Furniture, Modular Office Systems, or Commercial Interiors/Fit-out industry.



Skills & Competencies:

Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-achieving sales team.

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of sales P&L, budgeting, and commercial contract profitability analysis.

Technical Proficiency: Expert level proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot) for pipeline management and reporting.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, suitable for corporate and C-suite interactions.

Mobility: Willingness and ability to undertake significant domestic travel to manage regional teams and key client accounts.
