The Sales Manager is responsible for driving hotel revenue by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading sales initiatives across corporate, leisure, and group segments. This role focuses on maximizing occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and overall revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets
Manage and grow key corporate, government, leisure, and group accounts
Lead, coach, and supervise Account Executives and sales team members
Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market analysis
Prepare and negotiate contracts, rate agreements, and proposals
Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations
Collaborate with Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, and Banquet teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
Represent the hotel at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events
Ensure excellent client relationships and high customer satisfaction
