Lead and manage a team of orthopedic sales representatives within a defined region or territory.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and purchasing departments.
Conduct regular field visits to support the team, attend surgeries, and assist with product demonstrations.
Monitor team performance through KPIs, coaching, and performance reviews.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to launch new products and promotional campaigns.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Analyze sales data and provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related field (MBA is a plus).
5+ years of experience in orthopedic or medical device sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of orthopedic procedures and products (e.g., trauma, joint replacement, spine and sports medicine).
Proven ability to drive sales performance and lead a high-performing team.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
