We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Sales Manager to lead our growth in the Travel Retail and B2B software space. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the travel distribution ecosystem, retail travel business, and API integrations. You'll be responsible for selling our B2B travel platform, APIs (Flights, Hotels, Buses, etc.), white-label solutions, and building strong relationships across travel agencies, TMCs, OTAs, and enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:-
Drive B2B software sales across the travel retail segment, including travel agencies, corporates, consolidators, and online platforms.
Promote API-based travel products (e.g., Flights, Hotels, Transfers, Activities, Bus APIs) and SaaS solutions.
Understand client requirements and consult on appropriate tech and API integration models.
Collaborate with product and technical teams to deliver tailored demo presentations and proposals.
Manage the complete sales lifecycle - lead generation, pitching, pricing, negotiation, and closure.
Work with CRM tools to manage pipeline, track KPIs, and maintain prospect/client databases.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high retention and upsell opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends including NDC, GDS, LCCs, aggregator models, and evolving retail travel tech.
Requirements:-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Travel, Marketing, or Technology.
Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales in the travel technology domain, preferably selling APIs, booking engines, or white-label platforms.
Deep understanding of travel APIs, including authentication models, integration workflows, and documentation formats (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
Strong domain knowledge of Travel Retail - including offline agency business, OTA models, and corporate travel.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Comfortable working in a tech-enabled and fast-paced sales environment.
Preferred Skills:-
Hands-on experience in dealing with GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport), LCC APIs, or Hotel Wholesalers.
Familiarity with travel mid-office tools, mark-up engines, and inventory management systems.
Knowledge of pricing models (markup, commission, subscription-based) and revenue generation strategies in travel tech.
