The Import & Export Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth in international markets. This role involves managing import and export operations, identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with overseas agents, shipping lines, and clients, and ensuring compliance with global trade regulations. The manager will play a key role in revenue generation, client acquisition, and maintaining smooth supply chain activities.
Develop and manage sales strategies for import and export business (FCL/LCL - Sea & Air shipments).
Identify, acquire, and maintain key customer accounts to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to secure competitive pricing.
Coordinate with operations, documentation, and finance teams to ensure smooth handling of shipments.
Expand and strengthen global agent/partner networks to enhance business reach.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans for management.
Provide excellent customer service, resolving client queries and ensuring satisfaction.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
