About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our telecom sales initiatives in the Madurai region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and leading sales strategies within the telecommunications industry. You will be responsible for acquiring new enterprise or high-value clients, managing key accounts, and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate the market and acquire new clients for telecom products and services (e.g., Broadband, Leased Lines, MPLS, Cloud Telephony, IoT solutions).
Revenue Growth:
Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and quotas. Drive the entire sales cycle from initial lead generation to final closure.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise and corporate client organizations. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Actively seek new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market intelligence.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with pre-sales, technical support, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful implementation of solutions.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market forecasts for senior management using CRM tools.
Negotiation:
Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a B2B sales role within the telecommunications industry.
Proven Track Record:
Demonstrable history of meeting and exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of telecom products, services, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills (both verbal and written in English and Tamil).
Relationship Building:
Strong ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
Driven & Self-Motivated:
A proactive, target-oriented individual with a strong desire to succeed.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) and the MS Office suite.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA would be a plus.
