We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our solar sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the solar energy industry and a strong track record in business development, client acquisition, and revenue generation. This role requires leadership skills, industry knowledge, and a passion for clean energy solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for solar rooftop, ground-mounted, and EPC projects.
Identify and generate new business leads in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, EPC partners, and channel distributors.
Lead the sales team, assign targets, and monitor performance.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Stay updated with government policies, subsidies, and market trends in the solar sector.
Collaborate with the engineering and project execution teams for smooth handover and client satisfaction.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain profitability of projects.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the companys brand.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate sales reports for management.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Renewable Energy preferred), MBA is a plus.
Experience: 48 years of experience in solar energy sales or renewable energy solutions.
Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, panels, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them to customers.
Willingness to travel extensively for business development.
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools.
