To lead, manage, and scale the Smart Home Solutions sales portfolio by driving a high-performing sales team, developing strong channel relationships (architects, interior designers, system integrators), and delivering consistent revenue growth in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans for the Smart Home Solutions division.
Identify new business opportunities across residential, commercial, hospitality, and real estate verticals.
Achieve revenue, product mix, and margin targets consistently.
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, train, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Executives/Business Development Executives.
Conduct weekly sales reviews, opportunity tracking, and pipeline forecasting.
Define clear KPIs and monitor team performance with structured reporting.
3. Channel & Partner Development
Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, system integrators (SIs), real estate developers, and premium dealers.
Ensure regular product trainings, solution demos, and joint business planning with partners.
Drive partner loyalty programs and enhance partner productivity.
4. Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Coordination
Conduct client meetings, solution presentations, and site visits.
Coordinate with pre-sales engineering team to develop proposals, BOQs, and solution diagrams.
Ensure seamless customer experience from lead generation to handover.
5. Market Intelligence & Product Positioning
Track competitor activity, pricing trends, new technologies, and market demand patterns.
Provide inputs to product and marketing teams on product gaps and customer feedback.
Support demand generation through events, workshops, and smart home demos.
6. Process, Compliance & Reporting
Ensure accurate CRM usage and maintain updated sales pipelines.
Submit weekly sales reports, forecasts, and business insights.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Electronics, or related field.
5-10 years of experience in B2B or channel sales; preference for Smart Home, Home Automation, Lighting Controls, Security Systems, or Consumer Electronics industry.
Proven experience in managing a field sales team.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of smart home technologies (lighting automation, security cameras, sensors, networking, AV systems, etc.).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage long sales cycles and complex solution-based selling.
Strong relationship-building capability with architects, interior designers, and real estate developers.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM platforms, and sales forecasting tools.
