We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in the machinery and industrial equipment sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and managing customer relationships, while ensuring the sales team meets and exceeds targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies specifically for machinery and industrial equipment markets.
Generate leads and identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and channel partners.
Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to understand requirements.
Collaborate with the technical and production teams to provide customized solutions.
Negotiate contracts, close sales deals, and ensure profitable growth.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
Train, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Business Administration / Marketing (MBA preferred).
5+ years of proven experience in sales of industrial machinery, capital equipment, or engineering products.
Strong knowledge of the machinery/manufacturing industry and B2B sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand technical products and explain them effectively to customers.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a sales team.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and business development.
