Role Overview
We are hiring a Sales Manager who can lead and manage a team of Sales Executives across multiple locations. The ideal candidate must be strong in field sales, team handling, route planning, target achievement, and distributor/retailer network expansion. This role requires strategic thinking along with active on-ground involvement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and mentor a team of 10+ Sales Executives across assigned regions.
Set monthly sales targets, track performance, and ensure timely achievement.
Develop and expand retailer, distributor, and wholesale networks.
Conduct regular market visits, joint field work, and retail audits.
Implement sales strategies to improve market penetration and brand visibility.
Monitor sales data, coverage reports, beat plans, and competitor activities.
Collaborate with management to plan schemes, promotions, and market activation campaigns.
Maintain strong relationships with retail partners and resolve escalated issues.
Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
Requirements
Graduate/Postgraduate preferred.
3-7 years of field sales experience in FMCG, dairy, beverages, or related segments.
Proven experience in team management and achieving aggressive sales targets.
Excellent communication, leadership, and market understanding.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Must have a two-wheeler and willingness to travel across assigned areas.
