About the Role
Aeden Fruits International is seeking a strategic and experienced
Sales Manager
to lead the sales operations across our growing chain of retail stores. This senior role is focused on driving revenue and market share within the highly competitive Fresh Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) sector. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of retail sales strategies, customer behavior, and the unique demands of the fresh produce market.
Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across all retail locations. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer demand to identify and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a high-performing team of Assistant Sales Managers and store staff. Foster a culture of excellence in customer service and sales performance through continuous coaching and development.
Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day sales operations of the retail stores, ensuring efficiency and consistency. Manage staff scheduling, assign duties, and ensure all stores are operating according to company policies.
Inventory and Vendor Management:
Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and minimize waste. Source and negotiate with vendors to secure high-quality merchandise.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Monitor and analyze key sales metrics, preparing regular reports and forecasts for senior management. Use data-driven insights to adjust sales tactics and improve overall performance.
Marketing & Promotions:
Work closely with the marketing department to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns, special offers, and visual merchandising strategies to drive foot traffic and boost sales.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the retail sector.
Significant experience in the fruits and vegetables, grocery, or fresh food industry is essential.
A proven track record of successfully leading sales teams and achieving targets in a multi-store environment.
Skills:
Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in sales data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of retail operations and sales principles.
