Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned and high-performing Senior Sales Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in third-party manufacturing/contract manufacturing (TPM/CMO). The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of handling and onboarding large MNC pharma clients. You will be responsible for driving business growth, securing new contracts, managing key client relationships, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Business Development & Revenue Generation:

Identify, approach, and acquire new MNC clients for third-party manufacturing services. Expand the existing client base to increase market share.

MNC Client Management:

Nurture long-term partnerships with high-value MNC pharmaceutical clients. Act as the primary point of contact for negotiations, contract closures, and relationship management.

Third-Party Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans specifically for PCD/Third-Party manufacturing to meet annual revenue targets.

Order Closure & Coordination:

Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation and quoting to final order closure, ensuring seamless coordination with technical, quality, and production teams for timely deliveries.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes (GMP, ICH guidelines) to adjust strategies and identify emerging opportunities.

Performance Reporting:

Prepare detailed sales forecasts, analysis, and revenue reports for senior management.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) to achieve sales targets and ensure high levels of team performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Experience:

Minimum 10+ years of experience in pharma sales, with at least 5-7 years specifically in Third-Party/Contract Manufacturing/PCD (preferably managing MNC accounts).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Business Administration. An MBA in Marketing is preferred.

Skills:

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills.

Technical Knowledge:

Deep understanding of pharmaceutical formulations, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.

Relationship Management:

Proven ability to build, maintain, and grow relationships with senior procurement and brand managers at MNCs.

Tools:

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
