We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our Infra division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients, and driving sales of our solar and clean energy solutions (including rooftop solar, C&I, community solar programs, and energy-efficiency offerings). This role demands a passion for sustainability, strong business acumen, and a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
Generate leads through cold calling, field visits, digital outreach, and channel partners.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Client Engagement & Solution Selling
Understand client energy needs, site conditions, and financing capacity.
Propose customized renewable energy solutions (solar rooftop, shared solar, energy monitoring, etc.).
Prepare techno-commercial proposals and conduct presentations for clients.
Sales Closure & Revenue Target Achievement
Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure timely signing of contracts.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and revenue goals.
Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams for smooth project handover.
Market Research & Strategy
Stay updated on MNRE policies, DISCOM regulations, subsidies, and financing schemes.
Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to the strategy team.
Recommend improvements in product offerings based on customer feedback and market needs.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through post-sale follow-up and service coordination.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies (especially solar PV).
Knowledge of MNRE guidelines, net-metering, virtual net-metering, and energy-efficiency programs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
Passion for sustainability and green energy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Energy / Business / Environmental Sciences (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
2-6 years of sales experience (preferably in solar energy, energy-efficiency, or electrical systems).
Experience in dealing with industrial clients, commercial real estate, or multi-tenant housing is a plus.
Fluency in English and local language.
