Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Sales Manager
to drive
business development and sales growth
in
oil & gas and related commodity markets
. The role involves managing key customer relationships, expanding the customer base, executing sales strategies, and working closely with operations and supply teams to ensure seamless delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, deep industry exposure, and the ability to manage end-to-end sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Drive sales of
natural gas, LNG, LPG, and related energy commodities
to industrial and commercial customers.
Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding the existing customer base.
Prepare and execute sales plans aligned with company revenue and margin objectives.
Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.
Customer Interaction & Relationship Management
Manage
key accounts
and maintain long-term relationships with industrial customers.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers for pricing, contracts, and supply coordination.
Understand customer fuel requirements, consumption patterns, and commercial expectations.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics in oil & gas and energy commodities.
Track key benchmarks such as
Brent, JKM, domestic gas prices
, and alternative fuel economics.
Provide market inputs to management for pricing strategy and business planning.
Commercial & Contract Management
Lead commercial discussions and support contract finalization in coordination with legal and operations teams.
Ensure adherence to company policies, commercial terms, and regulatory requirements.
Support contract renewals, amendments, and pricing reviews.
Internal Coordination
Coordinate closely with
operations, supply, finance, and logistics
teams to ensure smooth execution of sales contracts.
Support demand forecasting, supply planning, and operational alignment.
Ensure timely billing, collections support, and resolution of customer issues.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong

In-depth understanding of
oil & gas markets and energy commodities
Proven ability to grow and manage a
B2B customer base
Strong commercial and pricing acumen
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge of
Excel, MIS, and reporting tools
Ability to travel extensively for customer engagement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
