Key Responsibilities:
Channel Expansion & Distribution
Appoint new
Distributors and Wholesalers
every month in
Kolkata and Patna
, based on sales targets.
Manage and develop distributor relationships to ensure consistent sales growth.
Modern Retail & Institutional Sales (PAN India)
Build and manage relationships with
Modern Retail Chains/Supermarkets
(e.g., Reliance, Big Bazaar, etc.) via coordination with their Quality Managers.
Strategically connect with
Cinema Chains, Airport Lounges, Multiplexes
, and food courts for snack placement.
White Label & Private Label Partnerships
Initiate and manage B2B connections with private label buyers such as
BigBasket, Good Life by Reliance
, etc.
Collaborate for OEM/White Label opportunities in the snacks category.
Market Intelligence & Cost Analysis
Conduct
competitive market analysis
to recommend price points, margin strategy, and positioning.
Track sales data and optimize territory-specific sales plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Marketing, Business, or related field
.
Proven experience as a Sales Manager
in the
Snacks or FMCG industry
is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of
product formulation, seasoning, and flavor profiling
in the snack food domain.
Familiarity with
food safety regulations
and
quality control
standards.
Excellent
negotiation, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
Strong proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
.
Ability to work both
independently
and in
collaborative cross-functional teams
.
Salary:
Negotiable
based on candidate's competency, experience, and performance track record.
