Location: Noida (Head Office) with Pan-India travel

1. Position Overview
The Sales Manager - Modern Retail, Institutional & Corporate Sales will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue across organized modern trade chains, corporate clients, and institutional channels (government, PSUs, hotels, and gifting partners). The role combines strategic relationship building, account management, and sales execution to position Prabhu Shri Ram, Ramalaya, and associated product lines as premium, culture-inspired gifting and lifestyle offerings in India's modern retail and institutional ecosystem.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Modern Retail Sales
1. Identify, pitch, and onboard new modern retail chains and large-format stores.
2. Negotiate and finalize trade terms, listings, and product placements.
3. Build strong relationships with category managers, retail buyers, and merchandising teams.
4. Plan and execute joint marketing activities, promotions, and consumer engagement programs.
5. Monitor inventory, replenishment cycles, and retail sales performance.
B. Institutional & Corporate Sales
1. Identify and build relationships with corporate clients for bulk gifting, festive gifting, CSR programs, and employee rewards.
2. Engage institutions like government departments, PSUs, embassies, and educational institutions for customized gifting.
3. Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and product presentations.
4. Coordinate product customization, packaging personalization, and delivery schedules.
5. Develop partnerships with event companies, hospitality chains, and gifting agencies.
C. Brand Alignment & Execution
Ensure client and retail accounts reflect the brand ethos of cultural luxury and storytelling.
Coordinate with marketing for visibility campaigns, in-store branding, and experience setups.
Represent the brand at trade exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, and gifting expos.
D. Reporting & Coordination
Submit weekly sales reports, pipeline forecasts, and performance dashboards.
Collaborate closely with e-commerce, production, purchase, finance, and marketing teams.
3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Number of new accounts and corporate clients onboarded.
Average order value and repeat business ratio.
Payment and collection efficiency (DSO).
In-store brand visibility score and planogram compliance.
Customer satisfaction and account retention rate.
4. Required Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or Postgraduate in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing (MBA preferred).
5-8 years of experience in modern trade / B2B institutional sales / FMCG or lifestyle gifting sector.
Strong network with corporate gifting, institutional, and PSU buyers.
Experience managing premium Indian brands preferred.
