Key Responsibilities :
Sales Leadership
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets.
Provide coaching, support, and regular performance evaluations for sales team members.
Monitor team KPIs and generate reports to track team performance and pipeline progress.
Client Acquisition & Management
Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, inbound inquiries, referrals, and networking.
Engage with prospective and existing clients via phone, email, virtual meetings, and
on-site client visits
.
Understand customer needs, pain points, and goals to effectively position relevant solutions.
Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, demos, and proposals that address client needs.
Collect client feedback and relay it to product and marketing teams to improve offerings and campaigns.
Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
Sales Cycle Oversight
Supervise the end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring timely and accurate handling of :
Request for Quote (RFQ)
Quotation Creation & Submission
Negotiation & Deal Closure
Review and approve high-value quotations or strategic pricing decisions.
Monitor quotation turnaround times and push for operational efficiency.
Purchase Order (PO) Management
Work closely with clients and the internal team to facilitate:
Clarification of terms, timelines, and deliverables.
Smooth
PO generation and documentation
processes.
Order confirmation and execution tracking.
Ensure sales staff and support teams are aligned on PO terms and delivery schedules.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the
central point of coordination
between:
Marketing
- for campaign leads and content support.
Technical/Product Team
- for solution configuration and customizations.
Finance
- for pricing, billing, credit terms, and invoice clearance.
Conduct regular sync-ups with internal teams to remove blockers and ensure
client satisfaction
.
Reporting & Review
Track and report on:
Quote-to-PO conversion rates
Sales cycle length
PO fulfillment status
Client delivery feedback
Conduct weekly operational reviews with the sales and operations teams to discuss blockers, risks, and corrective actions.
