Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience Required: 7-12 Years (Fabric/Textile Industry)
1. Position Overview
The Senior Sales Manager - Fabric Division will be responsible for managing the complete sales function for woven fabrics. This includes developing strategic sales plans, handling key clients, exploring new markets, managing the sales team, and ensuring smooth coordination from inquiry to delivery. The manager must have strong market knowledge and proven experience in achieving sales targets within the textile industry.
2. Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
Manage B2B sales for domestic markets and explore potential for export sales.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, wholesalers, traders, and garment manufacturers.
Client Management & Communication
Coordinate with clients for fabric samples, quality approvals, pricing, and negotiations.
Understand customer needs and provide suitable fabric options based on market trends.
Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely communication and service.
Market Research & Analysis
Conduct regular competitor analysis, market surveys, and pricing research.
Stay updated on latest design trends, fabric developments, and seasonal demands.
Provide detailed feedback to management on new opportunities, trends, and challenges.
Coordination & Internal Communication
Work closely with merchandising, production, and dispatch teams to ensure timely order execution.
Resolve client issues related to quality, delivery, and order status.
Review daily MIS, production planning, and deliveries with the internal team.
Sales Reporting & Documentation
Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports with target vs. achievement analysis.
Maintain records of inquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, and outstanding payments.
Monitor credit limits and ensure timely collection of payments.
Team Management
Guide, monitor, and support the sales team to achieve assigned targets.
Conduct product training and market visits with team members.
Set performance goals and review team performance regularly.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in Marketing / Business Management / Textile Engineering (preferred).
7-12 years of experience in fabric sales (woven/knitted).
Strong knowledge of fabric construction, GSM, dyeing, printing, and finishing processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills with ability to prepare reports and forecasts.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and email communication.
Ability to travel for client visits, market surveys, and exhibitions.
