About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and performance-driven
Sales Manager
to lead and expand our sales operations in Pune. The ideal candidate must have relevant experience in electric vehicles, bicycles, automotive, or consumer durable industries.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for electric bicycles.
Develop and execute sales strategies for retail, B2B, institutional, and fleet customers.
Expand dealer network and manage onboarding, training, and performance.
Identify new business opportunities with corporates, schools, delivery companies, government bodies, and channel partners.
Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, dealers, and key stakeholders.
Handle customer inquiries, provide product demos, and support after-sales requirements.
Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through timely communication and support.
Operations & Market Management
Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and trends.
Drive promotional activities, events, test-ride campaigns, and roadshows.
Monitor inventory, coordinate with production/logistics for timely deliveries.
Ensure proper display, branding, and merchandising at dealer locations.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports, forecasts, and MIS updates.
Track sales performance against targets and suggest corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and sales processes.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
Ability to build and manage dealer networks.
Good understanding of market dynamics in EV / bicycle / automotive industries.
Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and lead sales teams.
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving ability.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in
Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or any relevant field
.
MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred (not mandatory).
Experience Required
3-7 years
of relevant experience in:
Electric vehicles
Bicycles/E-bicycles
Automotive (2W/3W)
Consumer durables or mobility products
Experience in dealer development and B2B sales will be an added advantage.
Salary Range
(You can insert as per your company policy, e.g., ?4-8 LPA + incentives)
