Designation: Sr. Engineer-Electrical Purchase

Education:- Diploma /BE /Electrical

Experience:- 5+ years

Salary:- As Per Industry

Job Location :- Pune (Chikhali)

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Management & Sourcing:

Identify, evaluate, and qualify vendors for electrical and electronic components, cables, motors, control panels, and other relevant equipment.

Request quotations, conduct technical-commercial evaluations, and finalize suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery.

Technical Procurement

:

Interpret technical drawings and BOMs to determine material requirements.

Ensure all purchased items comply with the project's technical specifications and standards.

Coordinate with the design and production teams for clarification on requirements.

Negotiation & Cost Optimization

:

Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.

Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and price histories.

Purchase Planning & Inventory Coordination:

Forecast procurement needs and create purchase plans based on project schedules.

Coordinate with inventory and stores to ensure adequate stock of critical items.

Quality Assurance:

Follow up on material inspection and quality checks with the QA/QC team.

Handle supplier non-conformance issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain all procurement documentation as per ISO or internal audit standards.

Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.

Skills:

Sound technical knowledge of electrical components and systems.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9.00 - ₹13.00 per year
