Job Description

The Sales Manager - MBO will be responsible for driving sales, managing relationships with multi-brand outlets, expanding market presence, and achieving revenue targets for the garment/apparel category. This role requires strong retail sales expertise, negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of garment industry trends, merchandising, and retailer dynamics.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Growth



Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the MBO channel. Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize sell-in and sell-out. Monitor secondary sales and ensure steady order flow from MBO partners.

MBO Account Management



Build and maintain strong relationships with existing multi-brand outlets and distributors. Identify new MBO partners and onboard them to increase coverage. Ensure timely placement of orders, follow-ups, and stock replenishment.

Market Expansion



Explore and open new markets and territories for business growth. Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.

Merchandising & Display



Ensure proper visual merchandising, product display standards, and brand visibility across MBO stores. Coordinate with VM teams (if applicable) for in-store branding.

Inventory & Stock Management



Track inventory movement at store level and plan stock supplies accordingly. Minimize ageing inventory and manage returns/exchanges as per company policy.

Retailer Support & Coordination



Handle retailer queries, grievances, and service issues. Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, accounts, production, merchandising) to ensure smooth operations.

Business Reporting



Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review. Analyze sell-through, product performance, and market trends to support planning.

Team Management (If applicable)



Manage, motivate, and guide field sales executives/FOSE. Conduct regular market visits and performance reviews.

Skills & Competencies



Strong experience in garment/apparel industry sales (MBO/retail distribution). Good knowledge of fabrics, fits, pricing, and current fashion trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze data and prepare actionable reports. Proactive, target-oriented, and strong problem-solving ability. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. 5-10 years of experience in MBO sales in the garment/apparel/fashion industry.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
