This position requires travel generating new business prospects, commercial negotiations, delivering presentations and managing customer relationships with our clients. Our new Sales Manager must plan, generate enquiries, submit quotations on time, attend techno commercial meetings, close the orders and collect payment. This job is suited for professionals with Industrial experience, a passion for sales and customer service who enjoy closing business for solution orientated packages.


Your responsibilities:




Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales by combining technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products or services. This role involves understanding customer requirements, presenting suitable solutions, ensuring successful deal closures and also includes leading a team and developing strategic plans to expand market presence. Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective clients. Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations. Understand client requirements and propose appropriate solutions. Prepare commercial offers and quotations. Negotiate contracts and close deals. Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to ensure client needs are met. Provide post-sales technical support when necessary. Develop Long-Term Customer Relationships Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales engineers or representatives. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve organizational revenue goals. Monitor market trends and competitor activities. Forecast sales performance and prepare periodic reports for senior management. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and partners. Coordinate with marketing to develop campaign materials. Prospect for new clients and business opportunities in the following markets: + End Users
+ Maritime logistics or shipping companies
+ Marine Consultants
+ Shipyards
+ Ship Owners
+ Offshore Oil & Gas
+ National Port Authorities
+ Marine Research Institutes
+ Marine Dealers or Distributors


What we expect from you:




Technical proficiency and prior pump sales experience are a must, as well as the following skills:


Educational Background: Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical. Proven track record in technical sales or sales management - 5-7 years' selling experience in dealing with Marine Consultants & Contractors, Centrifugal Pumps, Positive Displacement Pumps Compressors, Chillers, Valves etc. Sales skills - Demonstrate professional selling skills including prospecting, quote generation, closing and solution-oriented sales. Problem-solving skills - Ability to identify customer's 'pain points', specify, communicate, and offer solutions to customers. Technical/Technology experience - Apply the knowledge and technical expertise in the industry market to advise and assist clients with winning solutions. Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 , SAP). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Confidence - Confident to motivate the clients to make purchases and to upsell solutions. Strong technical acumen and ability to grasp complex concepts. Ability to work independently and in a team.
