Job Summary:
We are seeking ambitious and experienced
Sales Managers
to lead our distributor and channel development across
Kerala
and
Tamil Nadu
. The candidate must have a proven track record in sales and distribution of products like
GI doors, gate/home automation systems, inverters, swimming pool equipment, or similar construction/electrical/home solution products.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and appointing distributors, training them, driving secondary sales, and ensuring market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Distributor Appointment & Management:
Identify and onboard capable distributors/dealers in targeted cities/towns.
Evaluate distributor capabilities and manage relationships for long-term growth.
Channel Sales & Dealer Development:
Create and implement strategies to increase market share through distributor and dealer networks.
Regular market visits to support partners and improve product visibility.
Sales Target Achievement:
Drive secondary sales and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Product Training & Promotion:
Train distributor/dealer staff on product features, pricing, and positioning.
Conduct product demos and participate in trade shows or local promotions.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and new product introductions.
Suggest new geographies for expansion based on market potential.
Payment Collections & Credit Control:
Ensure timely collection of payments from channel partners as per company policy.
Reporting:
Maintain and submit daily/weekly sales reports, market feedback, and channel performance metrics.
Candidate Profile:
Graduate (Diploma/Degree in Engineering preferred); MBA is an added advantage
Minimum
5 years of experience in channel/distributor sales
of similar products:
(GI doors, gate/home automation, inverters, swimming pool systems, solar products, electricals, etc.)
Strong local network with distributors/dealers in the region
Fluent in
Malayalam (for Kerala)
or
Tamil (for Tamil Nadu)
and English
Strong communication, negotiation, and team-building skills
Willingness to travel extensively
