Job Overview



The Sales Manager - Kitchens is responsible for driving sales within the Kitchens vertical at the showroom level. This includes managing direct client relationships, collaborating with internal teams, coordinating site activities, and ensuring premium service delivery. The role requires a well-groomed, confident, and proactive individual with a clear focus on conversions and a strong understanding of luxury interiors.

Familiarity with kitchen planning and design software, and architecture / interior design software such as AutoCAD is required, to assist designers and provide direction during the design process.



The ideal candidate must have:

15-20 years of experience in luxury interiors industry, especially kitchens or modular solutions. Strong interpersonal and sales skills, with proven ability to handle HNIs, architects, and designers. High grooming and personal hygiene standards -- essential for a luxury retail environment. A "sales comes first" mindset with focus on delivering results and closing deals. Experience coordinating across departments -- sales, product, logistics, and installation.
Understanding of the kitchen design process and ability to guide design development using software tools like AutoCAD.

Confidence in handling site-level challenges, sample coordination, and follow-ups.

Willingness to travel to architect offices, client sites, and across regions as required. Ability to collaborate closely with peers and reporting managers across product categories such as bathroom and wooden flooring. A stable and consistent career history, showing reliability and professional growth. Comfort in multitasking across clients, categories, and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities



Sales & Client Engagement



Manage the complete sales process from enquiry to handover for kitchen projects.

Handle walk-ins, referrals, and follow-ups on leads from the bathroom and wood floor teams.

Visit architect and interior designer offices regularly to introduce the product range, present samples, and generate new enquiries.

Conduct frequent client meetings across the city/region to drive high-touch engagement and ensure seamless closure.

Assist in design development and revisions, collaborating with in-house designers using our tools and others like AutoCAD.

Be available for site visits and follow-ups to support conversion and post-sale coordination.

Build strong relationships with architects, designers, and homeowners.

Drive personal sales targets while maintaining premium service delivery.

Internal Coordination & Communication



Collaborate actively with the Senior Sales Managers and associated Team Leaders from Bathrooms or Wood Floors.

Work with product teams for pricing and availability, and operations for fulfillment timelines.

Coordinate samples, mock-ups, and client presentations as needed.

Support team communication with Senior Managers of other verticals (Bathrooms, wood floors) where applicable.

Site Handling & Execution



Coordinate with the installation & logistics teams, and clients team for smooth delivery and installation.

Personally oversee installations for important or escalated projects.

Monitor site progress and escalate any concerns to the appropriate manager.

Ensure timely documentation, client updates, and issue resolution.

Showroom Presence & Presentation



Maintain the highest standards of grooming and conduct as a brand representative.

Ensure products are correctly displayed and presented to luxury standards.

Be present in key client meetings, walkthroughs, and presentations.

Experience Required:



15-20 years of experience in interiors, building materials, or project-based B2C sales.

Background in luxury or design-focused retail is preferred.

Prior exposure to HNI clientele and architect community is advantageous.

Well-groomed and presentable -- essential for a luxury retail environment.

Demonstrated ability to work in a structured sales environment.

Analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution mindset.

Comfort with CRM tools and MS Office for day-to-day operations.

Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD or equivalent.

Knowledge and Skills:



Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong follow-up discipline and client coordination.

Ability to problem-solve and escalate site or client-related issues effectively.

Willingness to travel locally for meetings and site visits.

Respectful of reporting hierarchy -- reports to Senior Sales Manager and Store Head.

Collaborates well across product divisions.

Will need to gain good understanding of Kitchen products, features, installation techniques, finishes, and luxury interiors.
