As a Front Office Assistant, you will be the face of the hotel, welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism. You'll support daily front desk operations, assist with guest inquiries, and ensure smooth check-in and check-out experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services
Greet guests and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints courteously
Provide accurate information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation
Reservation & Billing
Manage room bookings and cancellations using the hotel's PMS
Process payments and maintain billing accuracy
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for room readiness
Administrative Support
Maintain front desk records and logs
Answer phone calls and route them appropriately
Monitor lobby cleanliness and presentation
Team Collaboration
Work closely with the Front Office Manager and other team members
Support concierge and bell desk operations when needed
Uphold hotel policies and guest service standards
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
1-2 years of experience in a front office or customer service role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, IDS, or similar)
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a guest-first mindset
