Job Summary
The Sales Manager - Insurance Broking is responsible for driving insurance sales, developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and leading a sales team to achieve revenue targets. The role involves promoting insurance products across Life, General, and Health Insurance in compliance with IRDAI regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in corporate and retail insurance segments
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Promote insurance products including Life, Health, Motor, and General Insurance
Develop customized insurance solutions based on client requirements
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, SMEs, and individual customers
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage sales executives / relationship managers
Set performance targets and monitor team productivity
Provide regular coaching and motivation to the sales team
Insurer & Market Coordination
Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, policy issuance, renewals, and claims support
Stay updated on insurance products, pricing, and market trends
Ensure smooth policy servicing and timely renewals
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines and company policies
Maintain accurate sales reports, MIS, and pipeline tracking
Support audit and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing / Finance preferred)
1-5 years of experience in insurance sales or insurance broking
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Valid IRDAI certification (preferred)

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
