Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the complete sales cycle -- from lead generation to deal closure. You'll build lasting client relationships, deliver impactful product demonstrations, and convert prospects into loyal customers while maintaining a healthy and growing sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation & Sales Execution
Own end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, developing strategies to penetrate new markets and convert high-value prospects with tailored proposals.
Pipeline & Account Management
Build and maintain qualified sales pipeline and key accounts through consistent follow-ups, CRM tracking, and pipeline optimization for retention and upsell.
Product Demonstrations & Consultative Selling
Deliver engaging product demos, understand client challenges, handle objections confidently, educate on ROI, and relay feedback to internal teams.
Market Research & Strategy
Stay updated on industry trends and competitors, identify new opportunities, collaborate on marketing campaigns, and contribute to pricing/go-to-market strategies.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor KPIs, maintain accurate CRM records, analyze sales data for trends, and continuously refine strategies based on performance insights.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in EdTech and/or B2C sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to understand parent needs and present suitable solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confident presentation and product demo abilities.
Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills to drive closures in a B2C environment.
Ability to build and nurture long-term customer relationships with disciplined follow-ups.
Comfortable using CRM tools
High ownership, resilience, and a target-oriented mindset suited to a fast-paced startup environment.
