Job Description

Responsibilities:

Leading and Motivating the Sales Team:

Supervising and motivating salespeople, setting sales goals, and ensuring they meet targets.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

Developing and implementing sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and budgets.

Customer Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining relationships with customers, ensuring excellent customer service.

Inventory Management:

Monitoring and managing inventory, including ordering new and used vehicles.

Performance Management:

Monitoring salesperson productivity, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.

Training and Development:

Providing training and support to sales staff, including new hire orientation and ongoing development.

Compliance:

Ensuring the sales team adheres to company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standards.

Reporting and Analysis:

Analyzing sales data, preparing reports, and monitoring market trends.

Liaison:

Serving as a liaison between the sales department and other departments within the dealership.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

Managing the sales department budget, controlling expenses, and ensuring profitability.
Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

Proven experience in automotive sales management, typically 5+ years.

Leadership and Management:

Strong leadership, motivation, and management skills to guide and inspire a sales team.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Sales and Negotiation:

Strong sales skills and negotiation abilities.

Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies.

Knowledge of Automotive Industry:

Understanding of the automotive industry, including vehicles, financing, and regulations.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.

Education:

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
