Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving B2B/B2C sales of refurbished IT hardware including Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Workstations, and related peripherals. The role demands strong industry knowledge, client handling experience, target achievement capability, and team leadership. The candidate should possess excellent negotiation, market development, and strategic planning skills to achieve revenue goals and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth
Develop sales strategies to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
Generate new business and manage existing client accounts across corporate, SMB, institutions, and channel partners.
Promote refurbished IT assets including Laptops, Desktops, Servers, Workstations, Networking & accessories.
Manage pricing, quotations, tenders, and negotiate commercial terms with customers.
Client Relationship & Market Expansion
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors & channel partners.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Handle customer queries and ensure high service satisfaction.
Procurement & Inventory Coordination
Coordinate with procurement/refurbishing teams for stock planning as per demand.
Understand grading (A/B/C), quality testing, and lifecycle of refurbished hardware.
Monitor product availability, logistics, and timely order fulfillment.
Team & Reporting
Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve sales objectives (if applicable).
Maintain sales pipeline, forecast reports, CRM updates, and MIS records.
Prepare monthly sales reports & business performance analysis for management.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Proven experience in IT Hardware & Refurbished product sales.
Strong knowledge of Laptop/Desktop/Server configurations and peripherals.
Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and deal-closing skills.
Strong client relationship management & networking ability.
Ability to meet sales targets under deadlines.
Good knowledge of market pricing, brands (Dell/HP/Lenovo etc.), and IT component trends.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and business reporting.
Effective verbal & written communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Business/Marketing (preferred).
Certification or technical exposure in IT hardware will be an advantage.
8-10 years
of experience in IT Hardware & Refurbished product sales.
