to lead our Health & Motor Insurance sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving premium growth, managing a network of insurance agents and brokers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall strategic goals of the organization. This role combines direct sales responsibilities with channel development and management.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve health and motor insurance targets.
Identify and target new market segments to increase policy sales.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual premium targets.
2. Agent & Broker Management
Recruit, train, and manage insurance agents and brokers.
Develop productive relationships with intermediaries to drive consistent sales.
Monitor agent/broker performance and provide ongoing support and guidance.
Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews.
3. Channel Development
Identify new opportunities to expand the broker/agent network.
Collaborate with marketing to support channel activities and lead generation.
Ensure agents/brokers are equipped with product knowledge and sales tools.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (IRDAI guidelines).
Oversee the accuracy and timely submission of policy documents and reports.
Monitor and mitigate risk of mis-selling or unethical practices.
5. Customer Relationship Management
Resolve customer issues related to policies, claims, or servicing.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Act as a point of escalation for client and partner concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
IRDAI license preferred or must be obtained within joining period.
4-7 years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in Health and Motor segments.
Experience in managing insurance agents or brokers is mandatory.
Skills Required:
