Role details:

  • Title / Designation: Sales Manager
  • Reporting Manager: Category head/ Business Head
  • Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Hyderabad.
Role & responsibilities:
  • Drive sales growth, revenue, and profitability for Pyridine, Fluorine, Boron and related chemistries by achieving defined targets and expanding business across pharma, agrochemicals, adhesives, rubber chemicals, and specialty applications.
  • Manage and grow key customer accounts across domestic and international markets by understanding customer requirements, providing technical-commercial solutions, and leading pricing, contract, and long-term supply negotiations.
  • Generate market intelligence and strategic inputs by monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements, and sharing insights with senior management for product positioning and business planning.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Production, and Supply Chain) to deliver customized solutions, ensure timely order execution, and meet customer commitments.
  • Handle operational and reporting responsibilities, including credit control, receivable collections, sales forecasting, MIS and performance reporting, and representing the company at industry events, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
Candidate requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 5 -10 years of experience in sales/business development of specialty chemicals or KSMs.
  • Strong knowledge ofPyridine, Fluorine and Boron chemistry and their applications.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing key accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
