We are looking for an entrepreneurial and highly motivated Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to champion our brand and establish a strong market presence in the Vadodara and Taluka places.
This is a ground-floor opportunity for a sales professional who is passionate about premium products and thrives on building deep, personal relationships with retailers and specialty stores.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Growth & Brand Advocacy (Hands-On)
Target Achievement: Directly responsible for achieving primary and secondary sales targets for Harvey Naturals Cold-Pressed Groundnut Oil within the assigned territory.
New Account Acquisition: Aggressively identify and onboard premium retail outlets, high-end Kirana stores, organic stores, specialty food markets, and health-focused outlets that align with our brand image.
Demand Generation: Conduct in-store tasting, product demonstrations, and educational sessions with store staff and customers to drive trial and understanding of Cold-Pressed Oil benefits.
2. Distribution & Channel Management
Route Planning: Establish efficient sales routes and coverage plans to ensure consistent service to all retailers.
Distributor Liaison: Work closely with our single/key distributor to ensure timely order fulfillment, monitor inventory, and manage credit.
Visibility & Merchandising: Ensure excellent product placement, clear pricing, and attractive display of Harvey Naturals products at the point of sale.
3. Market Intelligence & Reporting
Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotions specifically related to other premium or cold-pressed oils, and provide actionable feedback.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, retailer feedback, stock levels, and daily calls.
Feedback Loop: Act as the voice of the market, sharing consumer and retailer insights with the company leadership to inform product strategy and marketing.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 2-4 years of field sales experience in FMCG, ideally with a background in premium, organic, or specialty food products.
Passion for the Product: Genuine enthusiasm for health products, traditional cooking, and the value proposition of cold-pressed oils.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to connect with premium clientele.
Drive & Autonomy: High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take ownership of the territory.
Local Knowledge: Strong existing knowledge of the retail landscape and key markets in Central and South Gujarat.
Must own a two-wheeler and possess a valid driving license for field travel.
