Retail Sales Manager - Furniture Showroom
Location: Surat, India
Job Overview:
We are seeking a smart, talented, and outspoken Retail Sales Manager to lead our showroom sales team and drive customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a strong understanding of retail sales operations in the furniture industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily showroom operations and supervise the retail sales team.
Greet and assist walk-in customers, understand their requirements, and guide them through the furniture selection process.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
Ensure the showroom is well-maintained and product displays are attractive and up-to-date.
Handle customer queries, objections, and complaints professionally.
Maintain records of sales, customer interactions, and follow-ups.
Coordinate with inventory and delivery teams to ensure timely dispatch.
Train and motivate showroom staff to achieve individual and team goals.
Requirements:
Education: Minimum Graduation in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills:
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills.
Good computer knowledge (MS Office, POS systems, basic CRM).
Sales-driven mindset with the ability to close deals confidently.
Experience: Prior experience in retail or showroom sales, preferably in the furniture or home decor sector, is a plus.
