Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for the general trade market to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Manage and nurture relationships with key channel partners, including distributors and retailers.
Drive distribution expansion and market penetration across various regions (e.g., metros, Tier 2/3 cities).
Oversee field execution, ensuring product visibility, availability, and effective placement at outlets.
Lead, motivate, and mentor the field sales team, setting clear performance goals and providing coaching.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management using sales force automation (SFA) or CRM tools.
Negotiate contracts and trade terms with clients and distributors.
