Sales Manager - Furniture Division

to drive sales growth, manage showroom operations, and lead the furniture sales team.

Job Summary

The Sales Manager - Furniture Division will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, customer engagement, team management, and achieving revenue targets within the furniture category. The role focuses on improving customer experience, maximizing conversions, and ensuring effective merchandising and stock coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the furniture sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets. Oversee day-to-day furniture showroom operations and ensure excellent customer service. Engage with customers, understand their requirements, and provide suitable product solutions. Plan and execute sales strategies, offers, and promotions to improve revenue. Ensure proper product display, pricing visibility, and merchandising standards. Coordinate with inventory and procurement teams for stock availability and replenishment. Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and share updates with management. Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure satisfactory resolutions. Train and mentor sales staff to improve product knowledge and selling skills. Ensure compliance with company policies, billing procedures, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 3+ years of experience in furniture sales or retail showroom management. Prior experience as Sales Manager, Assistant Sales Manager, or Furniture In-charge is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Customer-focused approach with a strong sales mindset. Basic computer skills (POS systems, Excel, sales reporting). Ability to manage targets and work in a performance-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in branded furniture retail or large-format stores is an added advantage.
