to lead our retail sales operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day sales activities, drive footfall conversions, manage the sales team, and ensure exceptional customer service. Experience in dealership sales, customer acquisition, finance tie-ups, and team management is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Target Achievement
Drive monthly and annual passenger vehicle sales targets (retail and corporate).
Monitor daily walk-ins, inquiries, test drives, bookings, and retail conversions.
Plan and execute dealership sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Team Handling & Training
Lead a team of sales consultants, showroom executives, and tele-callers.
Assign and monitor individual targets, conduct performance reviews, and daily briefings.
Train the sales team on product knowledge, customer handling, soft skills, and finance schemes.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction during pre-sales and post-sales journey.
Build strong relationships with individual and corporate clients for repeat and referral business.
Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Finance, Insurance & Documentation
Coordinate with finance & insurance partners to assist customers with vehicle loans and insurance.
Ensure complete documentation for RTO registration, delivery process, and warranty formalities.
Manage vehicle delivery schedules and customer experience during handover.
Reporting & MIS
Maintain and review daily sales reports, enquiry registers, and booking charts.
Prepare and present weekly sales performance reports to the GM or dealership owner.
Track market trends, competitor pricing, and customer preferences.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of passenger vehicle models and features.
Excellent sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Team leadership with the ability to motivate and coach.
Familiarity with CRM systems, DMS (Dealer Management Software), and MS Office.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing is preferred).
5-8 years of experience in automobile retail sales, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
Prior experience with a reputed passenger vehicle dealership is preferred.
