The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth in the logistics and freight forwarding sector by acquiring new clients, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets in logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain services.* Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential clients.* Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular meetings, follow-ups, and account management.* Understand client requirements and propose customized logistics solutions (Air, Sea, Land, Warehousing, and Distribution).* Negotiate and close contracts with customers, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.* Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay competitive.* Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to senior management.* Lead, mentor, and support the sales team (if applicable) to achieve collective goals.* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.*
