Job Description

Post : Sales Manager -West ( Excipients)

The sales manager will be based in Ahamadabad and be charged with the development and growth of Western Market ( Gujrat/MP) marketshare within the specific field of excipients.

Reporting to

the Director - Business Development, you will be working to identify new customers as well as maintaining and growing existing accounts.

You will also be expected to budget for the territory on an annual basis and achieve sales volumes to target.

Other key responsibilities will include:

- Negotiating on price and service with customer base.
- Working with others Team Members of sales & customer service
- Working with Customer to ensure a robust supply chain and established terms of business for payment of services.
- Manages customer relationship to ensure prompt payment as per agreed terms of business.
- Conducting frequent customer visits to build relationships and increase level of understanding surrounding customer projects and aims.
- Be the "Customer Friend" and first point of contact for any customer queries or escalations.
- Provide technical and commercial support to the customer base when required.
- Actively market and promote any new products to the supplier base.
- Works closely with Account Management team to formulate and maintain client growth plans & targets.
- Work closely with the head of Sales to compile customer and market information and formulate sales strategies and forecasts.
- Develop knowledge of competitors in relation to New Product Development, Price comparisons, TOB, Quality and recommend appropriate strategies.

Candidate requirements:

- Ideally degree educated in a Scientific or related discipline. ( BSe, MSe- MBA- Marketing)
- Prior history in Technical Sales within Pharmaceutical( Excipients)

- Nutraceutical / Pharmaceutical knowledge a big plus.
- History of working as part of a cross functional team.
- Deliverer of consistent results.
- Flexible to travel domestically and internationally when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?240,644.69 - ?1,096,793.78 per year
