We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive gold loan business growth for our NBFC. The role involves leading the sales team, expanding customer base, ensuring compliance, and achieving monthly/annual gold loan disbursement targets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to achieve gold loan sales targets for the assigned branch/region.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Officers/Executives.
Drive customer acquisition through direct sales, referrals, and tie-ups with local influencers, jewelers, and partners.
Ensure effective branch-level operations related to gold loan disbursement, valuation, and documentation.
Monitor daily gold loan transactions, customer engagement, and portfolio quality.
Train staff on product knowledge, gold appraisal processes, and compliance requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Keep track of competitor offerings and suggest strategies to enhance market share.
Ensure adherence to RBI/NBFC guidelines, KYC norms, and company policies.
Prepare regular MIS reports and submit performance updates to management.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of the gold loan market and customer behavior.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed gold loan sales targets.
Knowledge of gold appraisal methods, loan-to-value (LTV) norms, and operational processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build relationships with customers and local influencers.
Sound knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in NBFC gold loan business.
