We are seeking an ambitious, experienced, and dynamic
Sales Manager
to lead our gym and fitness equipment sales division. This role requires a driven professional with deep knowledge of fitness equipment sales, strong business acumen, and leadership capabilities. The Sales Manager will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing sales team, expanding our customer base, and developing long-term client relationships with gyms, fitness chains, hotels, wellness centers, physiotherapy clinics, corporate wellness programs, and educational institutions.
You will play a critical role in scaling our operations and contributing to our position as a market leader in the fitness industry.
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
Forecast sales performance and deliver accurate reporting to senior leadership.
Identify and secure new business opportunities across regional and national markets.
Client Engagement & Business Development:
Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate fitness equipment solutions.
Conduct site visits, demos, presentations, and consultations with prospective clients.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in alignment with business objectives.
Product & Market Expertise:
Maintain expert-level knowledge of the company's product lines including cardio machines, strength equipment, functional training tools, accessories, and wellness tech.
Advise customers on layout planning, installation, and maintenance.
Serve as the go-to resource for technical inquiries and post-sale service coordination.
Qualifications:Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.
4+ years of B2B or B2C sales experience in the fitness, health, or commercial equipment industry.
Demonstrated success in closing large contracts and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel locally, regionally, or nationally as needed.
Preferred:
Existing contacts in the fitness or wellness industry (e.g., gyms, clubs, hotels, PTs, schools).
Experience managing a sales team or distributor network.
Understanding of fitness equipment layout planning, installation, and servicing.
Experience selling to government, hospitality, or institutional clients.
