Role Summary:
The Sales Manager at Sona Fine Corporation will be responsible for driving business growth through effective sales strategies, market development, and customer engagement. This front-line leadership role demands active field presence (approx. 70% market visits) and collaboration with internal teams to execute the company's business objectives, ensuring both revenue and profitability targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Strategy:
o Develop and execute strategic sales plans in coordination with Branch Head to grow revenue across defined user markets and geographies.
o Lead from the front as a hands-on sales professional, maintaining a deep presence in the field.
2. Customer Engagement:
o Proactively manage relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure satisfaction and business continuity.
o Drive customer retention and acquisition across the allocated territory.
3. Market Expansion & Development:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities, sectors, and market segments for fine paper.
o Analyze competitive landscape and map market gaps to develop effective counter strategies.
4. Team & Network Management:
o Work closely with back support, marketing, and regional sales teams to ensure alignment and delivery of targets.
o Develop and manage a robust dealer and distribution network within the assigned territory.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
o Track and report on monthly sales performance, financial forecasts, and key market KPIs.
o Maintain accurate documentation as per company policies and ensure timely submission of reports to management.
6. Compliance & Coordination:
o Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
o Coordinate with senior leadership and other departments to ensure smooth execution of sales and marketing strategies.
7. Planning & Execution:
o Independently plan daily/weekly/monthly field visits and sales activities to achieve agreed targets.
o Take ownership of allocated territory performance and work to surpass goals through consistent follow-up and market understanding.
8. Additional Responsibilities:
o Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned to support business growth and organizational objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
? Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
? 4+ years of relevant experience in sales and business development.
? Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
? Ability to lead and motivate regional teams.
? Willingness to travel extensively (80%+ fieldwork).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
