Position Overview:



We are seeking a dynamic and driven

Sales Manager - Client Acquisition

to lead efforts in identifying, engaging, and securing businesses looking to enter or grow their presence on the

Government e-Marketplace (GeM)

. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and client management skills to drive revenue growth and expand our client base in the government procurement space.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead Generation & Client Identification:



Identify and qualify potential business clients that would benefit from onboarding to the GeM platform. Leverage market intelligence, digital tools, and professional networks for effective lead generation.

Client Outreach & Education:



Organize and conduct outreach programs such as seminars, webinars, and workshops to educate prospects on the value, compliance, and process of selling on GeM. Deliver compelling presentations and demos to engage decision-makers.

Strategic Sales Planning:



Develop and implement customized sales strategies aligned with GeM regulations and company objectives. Monitor performance metrics to adjust and optimize approaches regularly.

Client Onboarding & Support:



Facilitate the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients on GeM, providing guidance on documentation, registration, and listing. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and support.

Relationship Management:



Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients. Serve as the key point of contact for ongoing support, upselling opportunities, and resolving any operational issues.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:



Stay informed on the latest government procurement policies, GeM platform updates, and market dynamics. Use insights to enhance client advisory and internal strategy development.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Education:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Experience:



Minimum of 4 years of experience in B2B sales. Prior experience with the GeM platform or government procurement is highly preferred.

Skills:



Strong knowledge of the GeM ecosystem and public procurement procedures Proven sales track record with the ability to close deals and meet targets Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proficiency with CRM systems and lead management tools Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities Team leadership experience is an added advantage Willingness to travel for client meetings and events as required
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
