Job Summary
We are looking for an
experienced and results-driven Sales Manager
to lead our sales team in the freight forwarding and international logistics domain. The ideal candidate will develop and implement sales strategies, lead a team of Sales Executives, and ensure consistent revenue growth across Export and Import services.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Lead, train, and motivate Sales Executives.
Set and monitor individual and team sales targets.
Identify and penetrate new market opportunities.
Business Development & Key Account Management
Acquire and retain key accounts with long-term potential.
Oversee the sales pipeline and lead conversion.
Coordinate with operations for smooth service delivery.
Market Analysis & Reporting
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and growth areas.
Prepare forecasts, sales budgets, and performance reports.
Use CRM software for tracking sales activity and client interactions.
Team Development
Support recruitment and onboarding of new sales staff.
Organize sales meetings and skill development sessions.
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience
Minimum 5+ years
in sales within the freight forwarding/international logistics industry.
At least
2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role
.
Proven ability to meet and exceed Export and Import sales targets.
Industry Knowledge
Deep understanding of international shipping (Air, Sea, LCL, FCL, Express).
Familiar with
customs regulations, export/import documentation
, and
Incoterms
.
Leadership & Sales Acumen
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Strategic thinking and market development skills.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
Communication
Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Skilled in building client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
Technical Skills
Proficient in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with
CRM software
is essential.
