We are looking for a dynamic and technically proficient
Sales Assistant Manager / Manager - Sales
with proven experience in selling industrial power solutions (DG, UPS, BESS). The ideal candidate will have strong market connections in the Delhi/NCR region and the ability to drive sales from lead generation to contract closure.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, recruit, and onboard new enterprise customers in the C&I segment.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, explaining key technical and commercial benefits of BESS and related products.
Forecast and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales pipelines.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment, and legal terms within organizational guidelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, PMCs, contractors, and channel partners.
Gather market intelligence and track competitor activities for strategic decision-making.
Identify and drive cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
Ensure comprehensive management of the entire sales cycle -- from lead generation to deal closure.
Oversee risk assessment, scope compliance, and cost analysis for individual sales opportunities.
Coordinate internally with stakeholders for successful sales execution and project handovers.
Capture and analyze customer feedback at different stages of the sales and project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred).
5-10 years of experience in selling
UPS / DG / BESS
solutions in the
Delhi/NCR
region.
Experience in
solar energy
and renewable products is an added advantage.
Strong technical background and commercial acumen.
Deep understanding of
go-to-market (GTM)
strategies for renewable and energy storage products.
Well-connected with ELV consultants, contractors, and industry decision-makers.
Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
