Sales Manager - Detergent Enzymes

Experience:
4-5 years in B2B sales (Industrial Enzymes / FMCG Raw Materials)
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion:
Identify and acquire new business opportunities within the detergent and laundry care industry across North, South, East, and West India
Technical Value Selling:
Explain the benefits of enzymes (Proteases, Amylases, Lipases, Cellulases) in improving wash performance, reducing energy consumption, and enabling "green" formulations
Revenue & Growth Ownership
Meet sales targets for detergent enzymes, driving volume growth, value growth, and profitable market share expansion in line with business objectives
Key Account Management:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with R&D, Procurement, and Purchase teams of detergent manufacturers
Customized Product Development
: Work closely with customer R&D teams to understand formulation challenges and performance gaps, and propose customized enzyme solutions aligned with customer positioning
Distributor Management:
Appoint, manage, and develop channel partners to ensure effective market coverage, stock availability, and demand generation
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and regulatory changes within the Indian Home Care market
Technical Trials:
Coordinate with the technical service team to organize product trials and demonstrations at customer sites
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education:
B.Sc/B.Tech in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry. An MBA in Sales/Marketing is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with detergent formulations (powders, liquids, bars)
Sales Track Record:
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a technical B2B environment.
Communication:
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Mobility:
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50-60%) across India
